This exceptional bisque figurine is the Boehm Red Poinsettia. The delicacy of the figurine incredible with individual sharply pointed bracts that stand out from the figurine. There are no chips or cracks and the item is in perfect condition. There is a single large poinsettia on a base of bisque drift wood. The figurine measures 6 3/4 x 6 3/4 x 3 1/2 inches. The base is marked with the Boehm Studio mark and the signature of Helen F. Boehm. This figurine was a gift to a prominent St. Louis Cardiologist from a very well-known St. Louis businessman who was his patient in the mid-1970's to early 1980's. Full provenance can be furnished to the buyer if desired. The Boehm Studios have been making fine porcelain sculpture since 1950. This lovely figurine is certainly an example of their excellent work.
