This antique pin cushion is a lovely lady with a green hat blouse and darker green shawl. The left arm of the lady is raised up to hold onto her hat as if against the wind. The right arm is bent and her hand is on her waist. The half doll is unmarked as far as I can see however the doll extends down into the skirt. She is joined to a full cream colored silk skirt with a ruff at the waist and a ribbon ruffle at the bottom. The material of the skirt has been watermarked and is browned with age. The main part of the silk skirt shows some areas of deterioration. The skirt is stuffed with a silky wool-like material.
