This lovely oil lamp is made in the Cosmos pattern. This is a product of the Consolidated Lamp and Glass Co. from 1898 to 1905. This opaque glass lamp stands about 7 inches tall. There is a quilted diamond pattern on the glass as the background pattern. There are hand-painted embossed flowers on all sides of the lamp and the base is scrolled. At the neck of the lamp there is a painted band of light blue. The burner and collar are old and the screw mechanism is marked Banner O. L. & L. Co. There are no chips or cracks.
