This very large open compote is made in the Tacoma pattern. This is a non-flint glass item. This pattern was produced by Greensburg Glass Co. in Greensburg, PA in 1894 and then later produced by the National Glass Combine at Model Flint Glass Co. in Albany, IN c. 1900. The pattern was also known as Model No. 907, Jeweled Diamond and Fan, and Triple X. This compote has a high standard base that is joined to the bowl with a wafer. The compote bowl is almost 10" in diameter and the massive compote is 8 3/4" tall. There is a very very small chip on the underside of the bowl. This is not visually obvious and does not detract from the beauty of this large compote. This is an imposing compote that would grace the center of a table.
