Old Hand Painted Cabbage Leaf Shaker

This 3 1/2" tall shaker is made to represent a leafy head of cabbage or other vegetable that has a round compact head of leaves. This shaker came from the attic of an old abandoned urban row house that was being cleared by a privy digger before demolition. This is c 1890-1900. There is base or table wear to the bottom of the shaker. There are no chips or cracks. There is some paint wear to the sides of the shaker.
