This three compartment serving tray has three fluted bowls each of which is decorated with fruit. The three compartments are joined at a handle that is a large peach with three leaves. The handpainted decoration is bright and appealing. There is a single tiny chip in the glaze on one of the bowls along the fluted rim. The base is marked Italy and 1378. The mark is in black under the glaze.

The entire butter dish for this cover is shown in Gene Florence's Kitchen Glassware of the Depression Era and attributed to Hazel Atlas Glass Co. This lovely pressed glass cologne bottle has an intricate diamond and fan pattern and a swirled stopper. With the stopper in place, the jar stands just over 7 inches tall and is made of heavy, substantial glass. There is roughness at the opening of the jar, and the bottom of the stopper also has some chips. I am not sure if the stopper is original to the jar, but it makes a nice tight fit in the neck, so it may be. There is a rough gather on the bottom of the jar. A nice 1800's cologne bottle

On the reverse side of the pillow, the hand stitching of the pillow is seen.
