This cute little set of nodding salt and pepper shakers is a pair of ducks. The ducks sit in a china base that measures 3 x 2 x 2 inches. The base is decorated with roses on all sides. This lovely squared plate measures 7 1/2 inches wide. The blue and white decoration shows a seascape with tall sailing ships. There are no chips or cracks, however, there are a number of tiny pinpoint pits in the glaze that are imperfections in the manufacture. The base is unmarked. This plate would look lovely displayed in a cabinet, on a shelf, or hanging in a grouping on your wall.

The mug is decorated with a wash of yellow luster and there is a little gold painted pig peeking over the edge of the mug. The base is marked with a black stamp on the unglazed base, Made in Germany. The edges of the pig's ears are rough to the touch. The pot is 3 inches in diameter not counting the handle and stands 2 1/4 inches high not counting the pig.

This lovely 9 3/8 inch blue and white bowl is decorated with a dark navy transfer pattern of birds, fans and oriental motifs. The back is marked J & M PB & Co Ltd and the pattern name is Mikado. The mark was used from 1881-1928. There is some brownish discoloration and fine all over crazing. There is a chip on the underside of the rim. This is not seen from above. This unusual pattern would make this bowl a wonderful addition to a collection or a display of blue and white transferware.

Another of the skyscraper salt and pepper shaker sets from Harker pottery. This set has yellow and orange flowers on the front along with the words Salt and Pepper. Both have their original old corks in the base. There is a small chipped area on the bottom of the salt shaker. On the back of the pepper shaker at the bottom, there is a piece of excess clay that was left in the manufacture of the shaker. These are a nice, honest set of shakers.
