Porcelain:Occupied Japan

This lovely porcelain cup and saucer is marked Made in Occupied Japan in red on both the saucer and the cup. The pattern is one of large cabbage roses and other flowers with greenery and trimming in gold. There is minor loss of gold on the cup rim. There are no chips or cracks. The saucer is 5 1/2 inches in diameter. The cup is 4 3/4 inches in diameter and stands 2 inches in diameter.

This lovely shaving mug is hand decorated with gold and is titled "For A Little Shaver". The base is marked Rossetti Chicago Hand Painted Made in Occupied Japan. The mug is decorated with transfer decorations of violets and a violet bouquet. There is minimal gold loss, no crazing and there are no chips or cracks. There is wear to the base of the mug.
