This German figurine is a blackamoor. The figure is handpainted and is made of composition material. The figurine measures 3 1/4 inches tall. The figure wears a tunic and sports a tasseled fez on his head. The base is stamped Germany. The paint is very well preserved and the figure is in very good condition.

This antique pin cushion is a lovely lady with a green hat blouse and darker green shawl. The left arm of the lady is raised up to hold onto her hat as if against the wind. The right arm is bent and her hand is on her waist. The half doll is unmarked as far as I can see however the doll extends down into the skirt. She is joined to a full cream colored silk skirt with a ruff at the waist and a ribbon ruffle at the bottom. The material of the skirt has been watermarked and is browned with age. ...

This lovely half doll is marked 562 and Germany on the back. The marking is difficult to photograph. She has both arms bent with her hands on her shoulders. Her blue dress has a white tie at the neck and pink flowers on her right shoulder match the pink flower in her hair. She has blond ringlets. There are no chips or cracks. She stands 2 3/4 inches tall.

This lovely half doll has a pale pink top with a rose on her right shoulder. Her lovely honey blond hair is intricately curled. Her face is delicately painted.. Her hands are on her hips. She is marked Japan on the interior of the base. She stands 2 7/8 inches tall.

This small black bisque baby is marked Occupied Japan on the back. The arms and legs are movable at the body and the joints are tight and smooth. The baby has three wild hanks of white hair. This doll is 4 inches long. The eyes and mouth are painted on. The mark on the back is extremely difficult to photograph, but it does say Occupied Japan.

This simple German half doll with both arms away from her body wears a yellow hat with a pink bow over her blond marcelled hair. She has a face that is painted nicely with neat detail. She has no upper body clothing. The doll is marked on the inside of the base "Deutschland". The doll is 2 5/8 inches tall. There are no chips or cracks.

This larger unmarked half doll stands 5 inches tall. This lovely lady has brown hair with yellow feathers atop her hair. Her lovely bodice has a deep ruffled plunge with a bow at the top. Her hands are away from her body in front of her. She is a nice size for a large whisk broom skirt.

This lovely bathing beauty was probably used as an aquarium figure and has had her paint diminished from that. She has a blue long leg bathing suit and blue swim cap. She is seated on what was a red star. There are still traces of the red paint on the bisque figure. The base is marked Made in Japan in red lettering.
