This milk white reamer is embossed with the word SUNKIST on the front and back. It is milky white glass, but when held to the light there is opalescence and there are swirls of lighter white present. This is the reamer top for a Hocking Glass Co. measure cup. The reamer fits into the measuring cup and there are small holes for the squeezed juice to go into the cup while the seeds are kept on the top. The cone has vertical ribs. There is a flat tab handle on the reamer. Since these reamers and their mate cups were often separated, this may be just what you need to complete a set. There are no chips or cracks present. This ironstone reamer attachment belongs on a mechanical kitchen item probably from the 1930-1940 era. This reamer has a hexagonal mounting hole inside. The reamer is about 2 1/4 inches in diameter, stands about 2 inches high, and is in very nice condition. There is an extremely small flake on one edge, as its only flaw. The reamer cone has sharp edges for juicing citrus fruit.

These two primitive tin cookie cutters are have a geometric theme. There is a 3 inch round cutter with fluted borders and an interior circle cut out. The handle and fluted border are soldered to the flat back. The other cutter is a diamond with fluted borders and a central crimped X cutout. All of the fluting is soldered to a diamond-shaped flat back that measures 2 1/2 inches on each side. Minor rust is present on the diamond cutter.

This vintage pie bird was made by Morton Pottery in the 1940-1950 period. The bird is named "Patch" and has patches of bright pink, yellow, green and blue plumage. His beak is open for the pie juices to bubble up inside the bird rather than overflowing onto the oven floor and creating a burned mess! This bird has a base that has been discolored from being used in pies. There are no chips or cracks. A nice vintage bird for use in your kitchen or for your kitchen collection.
