This very small leather shoe is hand sewn with a wooden sole and hand forged nails. This could easily date to the late 1700's - early 1800's. You can see the hand planed marks on the wooden heel. This may be a shoe for a very young boy. The shoe is about 5 1/2 inches long. The upper leather is very worn and is buttery soft over the toe.
