The Fostoria Glass Company manufactured this gorgeous cigarette jar / ashtray during the Depression Era to complement their dinnerware lines.

The holder measures 4-1/8" high and the attached ashtray base is 4" in diameter. The glass has tiny optic panels and four bubbled out rows giving it lots of sparkle. Fostoria's amber is a beautiful deep, rich color -- very distinctive.

No damage to this piece -- no chips, cracks, fleabites, scratches -- lovely condition.

Originally manufactured for cigarettes, it's also a great item for use in the bathroom for Q-tips or on the desk or dresser for spare change, paper clips ...
