Antique Shoe Mold Or Last

This antique shoe form or last was used to make and shape shoes. This last was brought from Germany by my ancestors and it is very old, probably the early 1800's. It is made of wood and has a medal piece on the top of the heel with a hole in it so it could be placed on an up right last and worked on. This shoe last is a size 8 C and it is 10 3/4" long X 3 1/4" at widest part of the foot, and 4" at the highest part of the foot. It is in good condition for the age, of course it has some places that are worn on the sole, but it does not hurt or take away from the looks of the last.
