Made in England this vintage Salter Pocket Balance will weigh up to 25 pounds. On the bottom it says " not for trade". It measures in length 8 1/4 inches and is spring loaded. In fine working order it has a very nice patina and the red color is different from most I have seen. They are normally plain metal in color. Probably used for sport fishing or in the kitchen this is a nice old tool to put on display or even use if desired.
