First edition as stated and signed by both the author and illustrator Feenie and Zeke Finer. This is a book about Canada and Nova Scotia's pride and joy The Bluenose. Built in 1921 in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia she was the fastest fishing schooner ever built and was proven so by defeating all comers in the International Fishing Schooner races. Sadly, she sank in Haiti in 1946.

The condition of this book is extremely good. The interior is crisp (like new) and mark free other than author's note on title page. The DJ however shows shelf wear with some tears. There are 109 pages including illustrations and a map. Published by the Chilton Book Company , you may enjoy this wonderful vintage book about a famous and beautiful old lady from the sea that has gone down in maritime history as an icon.
