Here is another fascinating antique book for your consideration. "The History of the Great Fire in Boston " November 9 and 10, 1872 by Col. Russell H. Conwell. From the Estate of S.H. Russell, Maitland Nova Scotia, It was published by B.B. Russell, Philadelphia in 1873. I wonder if there is a connection??

Featuring gilt lettering on cover and spine there is no DJ. This is a first edition dated 1873 with 10 illustrations including one color print. The book is sound with green leather boards and typical discoloration. There is a leather bookmark advertising Mary Pinkham Medicine Co. It has left a mark on the pages it was guarding (94-95) & I have since wrapped it in tissue.

A superb addition to a collector's library.
