This beautiful art glass bluenique #1196 candlestick is made by Viking. It is made in the 1960 Epic line. Its shape is quite unique. It is round with an elongated rounded point extending from two ends. This piece measures 8 inches peak to peak by 5 ¾ inches wide. The height of this piece is 1 ½ inches to 2 inches high at the peaks. The candleholder is a half an inch tall and the holder has a rectangle silver blue Viking sticker. The sticker reads Viking handmade. There are no cracks in this piece. I do see two tiny bubbles in this piece which is common in Viking glass. The base is 2 ¼ inches wide and has a tiny nick on its edge. It does not mar the look of this pretty piece. This beautiful classic epic line piece makes such a strong color statement and displays so well. Look for other gorgeous blue glassware on Carmel Collectibles.
