Electroplated 23K gold butter dish by Golden Promotions

Here is a gold electroplated 23K gold covered butter dish. This promotional dish is scalloped on its edge. The lip edge surface is in a pattern that almost appears like folded pleats of a skirt. They come together at the ends and at the center of the long sides. The top cover has a finial handle with a braid like pattern around the top cover edge. The dish is shiny gold in color. The cover sets right into the base. There is a round black gray label on the bottom that reads electroplated with 23 KT. Gold, Golden Promotions INC, 1457 Broadway, New York, NY 10036. This company provided promotions or perks to clients who were connected to a specific company as incentives.The base inside bottom where you would place the butter does have one spot a little larger than the end of a pen that has eroded and there are a few dot scratches on the inside well edge as well. This is still a beautiful piece that would present a wonderful image on any table.
