Here is a Dickson bisque Madonna that shows a beautiful image of Mary. This planter is in light pink and blue. With her eyes closed she has a soft blue shawl over her head. Across her pink gown she has her long slender arms crossed. Her fingers are graceful and long and there is a narrow gold colored band around the wrist. She stands 6 inches tall and has a 2 ½ inch opening for a planter. I see no cracks or chips in this piece. There is a gold black sticker on the bottom that reads made in Japan and Dickson. Dickson made pieces like this in the 50’s for dime stores. A beautiful piece to display.
