I found this beautiful pink opal at a gem and mineral show over in Santa Fe. It is so unusual and such a striking pink I had to have it! I have attached two strands of pure pink shapes and texture with pink (dyed) blister pearls, pink Peruvian opals, faceted rose quartz capped with sterling silver, pink Biwa stick pearls and some rhodonite beads. As gorgeous as the pink opal pendant is, it seemed kind of blah to me so I added a short length of sterling chain with a Thai Karen fan shaped charm. If you don’t care for the chain and charm, I have included a photo without the charm and it can easily be removed. Either way, this lovely design measures 18 inches in length including the Bali sterling silver S hook.
