A fun spring and summer bracelet just in time for spring break and summer fun in the sun! I fondly remember the spring breaks I spent on Galveston and South Padre Islands when I was a college student—the salt water breeze blowing in my face as I watched the water from the Gulf Coast lab upon the shore. The little, long legged birds chasing the waves and pecking away at what the sea brought to them. I once watched a retired gentleman carve the most incredible sand castle. He had a 5 gallon bucket full of sculpting tools and he did this day in and day out during the cooler months of the year. I designed this bracelet with all this in mind—abalone ovals with sea green faceted fluorite nuggets, aventurine lentils, baroque aquamarine nuggets, light green (dyed) freshwater pearls and rhodochrosite nuggets—all the iridescent colors in the abalone. This beauty will fit a 6 – 6 ½ inch wrist and closes with an ornate Toggle clasp from Bali.
