My latest addition to my “Loose & Sassy” line begins with a carved rain forest jasper (rhyolite), carved leaf pendant. To this, I have paired lime green African Sand-cast donuts with a faceted chalcedony oval, joined by faceted smoky quartz and tiny Baltic amber beads. Next, I used lovely borosilicate lampwork beads with swirls of yellows, greens and amber next to free-form, Greek ceramic spacers dipped in silver with tiny olive jade. Moving upwards are sparkling ruby fuschite rectangles with Swarovski bicones and then another component with more lampwork, Greek ceramic and olive jade. I then paired Baltic amber nuggets on one side with an oval opposite, and added forest green Greek ceramic spacers and yellow jade cubes. Finally, there are faceted yellow opals flanked by faceted, smoky quartz and sterling silver. I used various sizes and shapes of sterling spacers throughout the design for variety and contrast. This necklace is completely hand wired with sterling silver wire and measures 18 ½ inches including the sterling silver S hook from Bali. The pendant drops 2 1/8 inches below the center of the necklace.
