Mermaid Needle Panting * Unusual & Interesting!

Presenting....this very unusual and interesting needle painting with 2 mermaids that appear to be trying to "snare" the third figure ( who's not yet a mermaid). The figures are finely stitched to the background. I haven't taken this apart as it is very well put together and I thought it best to leave it as it is. In any case, this measures 13 1/2" x 13 3/4" and is a bit more then 15" x 15" with the frame. The original label is still attached to the reverse side. I Googled the name and St. Gallen and that seems to be Swiss. This looks to be from the 1950's perhaps and I doubt that it has ever been out of the frame. Thanks for Looking! Maureen
