This listing is for the first in the limited edition of only 12, titled "I had a dream..." She is a figurine approximately 7 inches high, the base is approximately 4 inches. She could sit upon a pedestal of wood or stone, if so desired. The dreamer is riding a wave, water indicative of a number of levels: most simply, the waves of Okanagan lake as the wind (air=intelligence) stirs the water (emotions), and symbolically the dichotomy of the control and be controlled aspects of the creative’s connection to the subconscious. She is kneeling, symbolic of the reverence and humility one has for one’s art and the source from which it springs. Arched, in the rapture of the realization that comes with the communication with the divine, the dreamer’s arms are stretched up, heart and head towards the sky, receptive to all that comes. Her hands, cupped, will fit two fingertips of the observer/participant, to complete the circle, for no art is created or received in solitude.

I am envisioning her to be golden brown to deep brown.

Status as of October 30, she has gone to the foundry to have the mold created. I can not promise a finish bronze will be available by Christmas, however I can say for sure she will be available by Valentine's Day.
