Any diva's delight! This marvelous gem hails from the Mid-Century Period, when hopes, dreams and jewelry were all larger than life!

This is an lovely genuine, natural Mediterranean angel skin coral cabochon ring crafted in Italy in buttery 18K yellow gold. It features a highest quality, very uniform and solid pink angel skin coral cabochon surrounded by eight over 4 point brilliant cut diamonds. The diamonds are clear and clean, VS1 to VS2 in clarity and E to G in color. The gorgeous off-your-finger basket setting is solid 18K yellow gold. It is stamped 18K and tested 18k as well.

As you can tell, only the finest materials went into this lovely Italian crafted beauty. Angel skin coral like this has not been harvested since the 1970's and is so hard to find. You won't find a beauty like this at the mall!!

The high profile basket setting is custom made and It gently clutches the large and lovely 17mm by 15mm (1 inch equals 25mm) cabochon with four tight and secure prongs. The diamonds are also four prong set. We have had all the prongs checked by our jeweler to be sure all the stones are safe and secure as well as tight and smooth to avoid any snagging of clothing. The ring is in excellent condition and ready to wear.

The entire face of this 'come hither' ring measures 1 inch by 7/8 inch and the gallery rises the cabochon above the finger approximately 5/8 inch.

The total weight is 10.6 grams and it measures a size 6 U.S. The diamond weight is approximately .35 carats. It has never been re-sized, and there is no evidence of repairs or damage whatsoever. The coral itself is absolutely perfect in a very uniform soft pink. The diamonds glisten to the max and the gold finish is shiny and devoid of scratches. What can I say, I love it and highly recommend this one! Due to the current bans on coral harvesting, large coral cabochons are a rarity in newly designed rings, therefore the extremely high prices being asked for new rings today!
