Created from 121 individually carved cabochons, this genuine coral bracelet features the beloved hinged brick design, masterfully created by the Caso Family of Naples, Italy. Measuring just over 1 3/4" wide, there is not and will not be another like this!! Crafted of natural undyed Precious Mediterranean red coral and solid 14K yellow gold.

The natural red coral's hue is a deep deep tomato red that absolutely radiates against the skin. The bracelet measures 7 1/4" closed and an amazing 1 13/16" wide. Total weight is 61.3 grams. Each of the perfectly curved cabochons measures 13mm long by 5mm wide. Each is also 4 to 5mm thick. I have seen many like this, but none so sturdy and well crafted.

The brick mesh pattern is created with 22 heavy gold bars, with 121 cabochons being strung in alternating rows of six and five. Each cabochon is hand drilled to precision so that each bar works like a hinge. Each end is features its own heavy 14K yellow gold tube hinge bar that slide one inside the other to securely close the bracelet. They measures 1 13/16" by 1/2" and for even more added security, there is a figure 8 safety clasp. The outer edge of one of the clasp hinge pins is stamped "C", Caso's makers mark. There is no gold hallmark, but it is electronically tested and guaranteed at least 14K yellow gold.

This is indeed one amazing red coral bracelet in color, engineering, coral quality, carving skill and excellent original condition. One can only imagine the many man hours required to perfect this bracelet. Each of the 121 cabochons is amazingly matched in color, quality and curvature to the next. So beautiful seen with the naked eye, but even more alluring when viewed under magnification from both front and back. And I cannot begin to describe the way this bracelet feels against the skin. Every edge, front and back, so smooth, just like a fine heavy mesh. Now this is fantastic Old World Italian craftsmanship from the 1950's retro period.
