This is a splendid 18K Rose gold Sardinian Oxblood Red Coral Ring. Circa 1930, it features the deepest of red marquise shaped coral cabochon in an ornate 18K (stamped) setting, in its original size of 6 3/4 US.

The elaborate gold work, deep red Mediterranean coral and size of this ring are natural attention grabbers. The entire face of this ring measures 32.5x12mm (just under 1 5/16" by just under 1/2"). The cabochon is set with a combination of prongs and bezel. It rises dramatically off the finger 10mm, with both the unique geometrical shape and hand pierced gold basket adding plenty of flair. This large scale design is not restrictive on the knuckle whatsoever. Total weight is 8.4 grams.

This ring looks beautiful on and is sure to please. It can easily be sized up or down, but beautiful ring with such great Art Deco Period style are difficult to find in sizes as large as 6 3/4. (Most rings can only be sized up or down 2 full sizes and, if a ring has previously been resized, an entire new ring shank is often required).
