Torch Ginger Hawaiian Wood Carved Perfume Bottle Holder

Most vintage Hawaiian wood perfume bottle holders were made from the more common monkey pod wood. This one is the richer, milo wood. Circa 1930's-40's...Hand carved from a solid piece of milo wood, with a hole drilled in the center for the perfume bottle to fit inside. It is in near mint condition. It stands 7&3/4 inches tall, including the wood top. and the only flaw is there is a piece of soft tissue inside to help the bottle fit more snugly, and that the fragrant perfume that was once in the bottle is long gone. The bottle still has both original, paper labels. Bottled by John Oya & Co. Honolulu, Hawaii.
