This creamer by J & G Meakin is in the "Gainsborough Rose" pattern featuring flowers and berries. On one side is a decal with a rose in the center of the other flowers and berries. On the other side is a slightly different pattern--no rose. This piece is in excellent condition with only 3 tiny light brown spots (smaller than pea-size, more size of pin-dots) inside the creamer. No chips, cracks, or crazing. 4 1/2" tall.

Pink roses and green, burgundy and gold scrolls decorate the rim of this very large serving platter with a gold edge in perfect condition. It measures 15 1/2" x 12 1/2", and is 2" deep. The backstamp dates it 1891-1907, according to Kovels, but it is in what looks like unused condition--a remarkable piece, especially for it's age. Perhaps this is the designer's or potter's name. My research has offered no clue to "Bruno." The pitcher is 10 3/4" tall and 7" in diameter at its widest part. The soap dish has a cover. This basket has all the shine of silver, but it's aluminum, so it won't tarnish, and you'll never have to polish it. It is 12" long, 7 1/4" wide, and 2 1/2" deep. The sides and base are woven of 1/4" aluminum strips. The handles and rim trim are braided aluminum wire. One of the handles lost the rivet on one side, and the rivet has been replaced with a screw and nut (probably stainless as it shines like the rest of the basket).
