This nice size rug over 4 feet by 2 ' 8'' is from our friend's collection of Western memorabilia. Bought in the Wyoming area years ago this vintage rug has a traditional Indian geometric design with bold and brilliant colors.
Hand loomed with vegetable dyed colors, it's woven pattern has over 47 red triangular sections with whites and dark brown to black background.
Measures 51 1/2'' long by 32'' wide.
Condition is very good, all weaving intact, some slight edge corners threads on binding need re-knotting. Hand spun wool content.
Circa:1930's-1940's, possibly earlier.
A wonderful display rug and a very durable floor rug.
