This basket has all the qualities often seen in the Museum displayed art pieces. Wonderfully woven, this lidded basket features a domed lid and base with a black and tan Indian geometric design. A beautiful show piece for the serious basketry collector, these are becoming harder to find, especially in such great condition. Made from bamboo reeds woven in a beautiful black and tan design, it has been skillfully fabricated with a bamboo bottom brace and flat head nails around the surrounding band. ...

This lovely handwoven wicker basket has a triangular end pattern so often seen in these fine buttock design baskets. With a bent willow handle, it has alot of character, and is large 54'' circumference. It is from N.C.circa 1960's and is in very good condition. It has a natural light tone with the inside a painted brown tone. Measures 15'' across handle to 13'' wide, 8'' deep with handle extending 18-20'' high.
