This Majolica Begonia leaf dish has the most intensely fabulous turquoise color I have ever seen. I love to see several pieces of majolica grouped together, but this piece is wonderful enough to stand alone! Not only is the color great, but the glaze is excellent, there are no chips or cracks and with crazing only on the back. This is a wonderful piece of Victorian Majolica and would be a delightful addition to any collection. The begonia leaf dishes are my very favorite and this one is just the best! Provenance: England, Circa: 1860-1890, Unattributed, Size: 8 inches X 6 Inches
