Of Chinese origin, the Hand Mirror is in a patterned silver color metal, and measures 1 3/8 inches across the widest part of the mirror, and 3 3/8 inches long (including the handle). The handle itself measures 1 5/8 inches long.
The Hand Mirror is in excellent condition, there is a tiny piece of enamel loss on the very end of the handle (on the underside) and also what may be some slight enamel loss on the back of the mirror - but it is difficult to tell whether this is damage as the enameling is irregular in places. Whether damage or not, it is virtually impossible to see with the naked eye. The Mirror itself has some tiny flea bites in one area of the edge and a small chip on the edge. The mirror has no loss of silvering, but has dark shadows in a regular pattern right across the surface. This pattern can be seen in my pictures, but are only obvious when looking at the mirror from an angle - when looking straight into the mirror, they are not visible. Not knowing enough about Mirrors, I don't know if this is from age, or whether the mirror was like this when it was made.
