So lovely to find a matching set especially one as attractive and high quality as this gorgeous Demi-Parure dating from the 1940's with matching Necklace, Bracelet and Brooch. In a highly gilded and textured metal, the set depicts ivy leaves set with faux Turquoise beads. The coloring of the beads and the way they are set reminds me of Bird Eggs in a nest, which is perhaps what they are meant to represent! The Necklace measures 17 1/2 inches in length and the largest leaf shape is 1 1/2 inches long. The Bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches long and is 1 inch wide. The Brooch measures 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches. The Brooch fastens with a 'c' clasp while the Necklace and Bracelet each fasten with a hook clasp. In excellent condition, there is a piece of solder at the end of the necklace chain right at the clasp - whether this is evidence of an old repair to the chain or simply added to secure the clasp to the chain, I can't tell, but it is not noticeable. This is a beautiful and high quality set which amazingly has no Maker's Mark.
