A lovely Art Deco Powder Compact for loose face powder, which is inscribed on the base 'Dhaussy-Paris Brevete S.G.D.G France et Etranger Made in France'. The Compact is in a silver tone metal and measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter and just over 1/2 inch in depth. Elegance by Avon was first launched in 1956 and is now discontinued. This enameled metal Perfume Atomizer Spray for the Purse is still in the original box, and I believe it has never been used - except when I just tried it out! There was air in the tube when I first depressed the top, and shaking the container, it seems to be pretty full.
