Lovely horse head bookends made of crystal clear glass. They are 4 1/2 inches long and 6 inches high.They are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. These shiny bookends would enhance any bookshelf as well as please any horse-lover!

~Bookends became popular when the price of books became affordable to the general public. Before the 1870's books were kept in book cupboards and not on open shelves. The first bookends appeared in the 1870's and were carved wood and hand-made.~
