This exquisite quilt top is a 58"x 60" multi-colored "Crazy Patch" quilt top made by the Ladies Junior Assistants for the Veteran Reunion ,Oil City, August 22, 1882. It is composed of velvet,satin,brocade,taffeta,and ribbon and is machine pieced. All of the seams are covered in hand embroidery. There are hand embroidered and painted flowers on various patches. The piece is in good condition with a small break at one edged and some slight deterioration at the edges.

This is an amazing quilt top! Appraised in 2003 at $1,000.00 ( appraisal form included with this purchase.)
