Nippon Porcelain Butter Tub with Insert,and Plate

Beautiful Nippon porcelain butter server with insert, in a floral pattern in pink and fuchsia with green vines. This set has the Nippon gold dotting and gold trim. The "blue" Nippon "sunburst" mark is on the bottom of the tub. The tub is 4 1/2 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches deep with two handles and a lid. Inside is a 3 inch porcelain insert with holes that was used to place on top of ice to keep the butter fresh. The tub sits on a lovely 5 1/4 inch plate in the same floral pattern. This piece is in pristine condition with no cracks,chips or loss of gold!
