Jewels for a discerning eye, these pink sapphires and green chrome diopside delightfully contrast with one another...and the 6 beads of genuine 20k gold along the strand add further interest. It is a dainty piece, probably best for a petite person, but it definitely has impact, very striking.

Chrome diopside in the brilliant green, clear quality seen here (especially the five marquise cut gems in the front) is rare and obtainable from only a few select gem dealers so this is the only necklace I will be able to create like this one. The bright pink sapphires, too, I have never seen again in this size and color since I bought these a few years ago. There are six of them in the front of the necklace.

At 17 1/2" long it is the perfect length for almost anyone and is finished with an 18k gold vermeil (sterling silver underneath) toggle clasp.

Gems are 3mm to 7mm in size.
