From the famous opal mines in Magdalena, Mexico, these glorious cherry opals appeared....and wow I couldn't help but notice them on the gem dealer's table! Their color and translucence are truly astounding....deep orange red jewels with glowing highlights. The three center gems have been polished and left in their lovely organic shapes, while the main strand is made of graduated, symmetrical roundels. Accents and hook-in clasp are all 18k gold vermeil (sterling silver underneath). I have been hoarding these for quite a while and now am ready to pass them on to you....very regal, richly-hued jewels, yet modestly proportioned to suit any special occasion.

Length of necklace is 17 1/2", center gems are 10mm and briolettes range from 3mm to 5mm.
