This authentic ancient coin pendant is suitable for either a man or a woman and the sterling chain that holds it is very sleek, substantial with 5mm long links. Anyone who is intrigued by history will love the fact that it was actually used as money almost two thousand years ago and has survived intact, acquiring a lovely patina along the way. The visage and lettering on the front are clearly visible, and the reverse side is fairly clear as well. The chain is 20" long, with a secure lobster clasp, and a couple of sterling silver beads provide accents. The coin itself is 3/4" in diameter.

Each of these bronze coins is unique and I use a variety of them for earrings and bracelets as well as pendants, so this is definitely something you won't find anywhere else. As far as I know I am the only one making this type of affordable jewelry with actual ancient coins.
