The visages of ancient Rome are amazingly still quite visible on these authentic coins from second and third centuries A.D. The faces on the front and images and Latin writing on the reverse were all hand-stamped by an artisan in ancient Rome. These are quite dramatic at 3 1/4" from the ear piercing and people will definitely ask about them! The bronze is weathered to a lovely patina which looks fabulous with the 18k gold vermeil beads and 14k gold filled wire. Each earring has three of the rare coins, a 14mm, a 16mm and a 19mm. A truly unique gift for anyone!
