Nice antique flat iron with a wooden handle that’s marked Colebrookdale Iron Co Boyertown Pa USA. The handle and knob is wooden and were painted in green and yellow at some time in the past. The top of the iron was also painted green. From what I could find, The Coalbrookdale Company was founded by Abraham Darby in 1707, and managed by members of the Darby family until 1849. It’s a nice heavy piece that can also be used as a doorstop.

Dimensions: It’s 6 ½ inches long x 5 ¼ inches high.

Condition: There are a few chips and wear to the paint and some rust to the iron.
