A fabulous near mint condition Goebel figurine, entitled Cactus Blue by Harry Holt is being offered for your consideration. The figurine is part of Goebel, West Germany's Amerikids Collection and still retains it's sticker on the side of the base with the figurine's title; Cactus Blues by Harry Holt. The figurine depicts a young (boy) cowboy complete with ten gallon hat, red kerchief, chaps and boots leaning against a flowering cactus, playing his harmonica. Such beautiful detailing and so dimensional, you expect to actually hear the harmonica! The figurine stands 6 1/4 inches tall and is signed on the bottom; Goebel, W. Germany, 1978, 11611-15 and 42 (there is also what appears to be the initials of the artist in black). A high quality porcelain figurine from the makers of the famous Hummel Collections.
