An original genuine blue delft 1986 Christmas Tile depicting the so called 'white village' of Thorn in its original box is offered for your consideration. The tile was made in Holland and by N.V. Plateelbakkerij Schoonhoven. It is 6 inches square and will come to you in its original paste board box with its certificate of authenticity. There is some discolored adhesive showing around the cloth that attaches the triangular hanger on the back(see photos), otherwise the tile is in perfect condition. The box is in good condition for its age; it has yellowed slightly with age and has some light wear to the edges and corners; as well as light soiling (see photos). A wonderful Christmas gift or addition to a delft collection; especially for someone for whom the year 1986 is significant.
