A gorgeous and ornate Limoges fine porcelain game bird plate by Bawo and Dotter's Elite Works is being offered for your consideration. The mark on the back of the plate is Gaston's mark 8, indicating production between 1891 and 1900. The plate is in fabulous condition with only minor gold loss to the high points of the ornate embossed sponged gold border. The plate measures 9 inches in diameter and is free of chips, cracks or hairlines. It appears to have spent all or most of it's life as a display or cabinet plate. A fabulous find for the collector of fine porcelain and a beautiful addition to any decor!
