A beautiful Art Nouveau (1890 -1915) necklace of brass chain laden with pale pink crystals draping from a central faceted oval bezel set paste stone is being offered for your consideration. It just does not get any more feminine than this gorgeous necklace; so frilly, sophisticated and elegant! The necklace measures 16 inches with a 2 3/4 inch drop. The once gilded brass findings are developing a beautiful warm patina with hints and glints of their former gilding, just as you would be looking for in this wonderful antique necklace. There is no corrosion or 'green stuff', just a wonderful naturally antiqued finish. The necklace is in very good condition and the closure is a new, antiqued finish spring ring, for safe and secure operation. The beads, chain and paste stone are present and appear to be original. On very close or magnified inspection you will find the occasional small nick, scratch & tiny flake in the crystals as would be age appropriate. You are going to feel like an elegant princess when you wear this necklace!
