A wonderful and scarce, signed Hattie Carnegie scare crow lapel pin/brooch with a faux pearl face and buttons surely inspired by the movie, The Wizard of Oz, is being offered for your consideration. The pin is in marvelous vintage condition and just as cute as it can possible be! The metal work is very nice, displaying the straw that he's made from in 'real life' in great detail, why even his shirt is buttoned up with faux pearl buttons, as well as, he has a crown of straw and a faux pearl face too! The pin measures 2 by 1 1/8 inches and is signed on the back, Hattie Carnegie in an oval cartouche without the copyright logo, also in a round cartouche is Pat. and 7 numbers indicating the clasp mechanisms patent, but we cannot make out the numbers as the plating is too thick over them. The pin back is straight and sharp; the 'C' clasp works properly. There are a couple of scratches on the back of the pin and some minor surface wear to the finish on the front; on very close or magnified inspection there are few minor surface nicks in the finish of the faux pearls. Overall, it is in very fine vintage condition and a wonderful addition to your figural or Hattie collection!

Please examine the figural brooch in detail by clicking on the thumbnails or 'Larger Views'.

Credit cards and e-checks are accepted via Pay Pal.

This beautiful lapel brooch will come to you in a gift box ready for giving or for the storage of your New Found Treasure.
