A terrific circa 1900 signed Made in England double open master salt or sweetmeats castor / server is being offered for your consideration. The ball footed frame appears to be electroplated nickel silver, but we cannot find the typical hallmark (E.P.N.S.). The pressed glass shallow serving bowls have a pinwheel design and ruffled frosted border, measuring 5 inches wide, 1 1/2 inches deep and have a 3 inch base. The overall dimensions are 10 1/2 inches long by 6 inches tall and 5 inches wide. It is in very nice condition; a few light scratches on the metal frame, as well as, a few inside the bowls; no chips of cracks. A wonderful server for your after-dinner mints; the large loop handle allows it to be easily carried for individual hand serving. A very pretty conversation starter on your buffet table or use it for salt and ground pepper at your next gourmet meal with friends and be prepared for the conversations it will start!
