A beautiful pair of fine Austrian porcelain salt & pepper shakers with gorgeous pink cabbage roses are being offered for your consideration. These were produced by Oscar and Edgar Gutherz in Altrohlau, Austria between 1899-1918 and each is marked with the company's green stamp on the bottom. They also have other marks as well, including one with an embossed Austria and the other with an impressed 'VI'. The shakers each stand 2 3/4 inches tall and have bases which are 2 1/8 inches in diameter. The both have corks in place and are as far as I can see are damage free. Light wear to the gold trim and era typical glaze pits, dust bumps, small under glaze anomalies and small skips in the design transfer are present, as on all of this era's porcelain pieces. A wonderful addition to your collection, a great addition to your table or next gourmet meal!
